Professor Katherine Klein
Professor Katherine Klein, Advisor: Katherine is an award-winning organisational psychologist and research scholar. She became the Edward H. Bowman Professor of Management at Wharton and from 2012 to 2022, served as the Vice Dean for the Wharton Social Impact Initiative (WSII) shaping their vision and strategy for social impact partnerships, initiatives and research. She is currently the Faculty Director of Wharton’s Impact Investing Research Lab. Each year, she brings MBA students to Rwanda and the Kigali Genocide Memorial for her global modular course, ‘Conflict, Leadership and Change: Lessons from Rwanda’. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Psychological Science. She is also a member of the board of directors of United Therapeutics, serves as an advisor to the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda and recently became an advisor to Aegis Trust’s Peace Institute in Rwanda. Katherine received a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University and her Ph.D. in Community Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
